Featured Project: Duluth Trading Company in Bloomington, MN
A longtime relationship that Elder-Jones has had with the construction manager consultant who was working with Duluth Trading Company led us to our first project with them in Bloomington, Minnesota. This project was a 14,000 square foot remodel of their existing space in a local development. Fun fact about the building is that it was originally a sporting goods store that our very own president, Justin Elder, worked at back in the mid ‘90s!
The transformation of this space occurred in just five weeks and features new exterior storefront finishes on two sides, new sales lighting and interior paint and finishes, and all new sales fixtures. Our team worked closely with Duluth Trading Company and their design team to understand and implement their newly designed sales floor fixture package to ensure all elements were executed just as planned. A unique feature of the store is their historic railroad and sales fixtures. Their store design team reused many of these in the remodel and we assisted with the reposition of them, including moving an actual train car! We are so pleased with how their new space turned out and are excited to work with Duluth Trading Company again in the future!
